Interior and Municipalities Minister Bassam Mawlawi, during a tour of the airport, confirmed that "thanks to the heroes of the airport security apparatus, we have met the needs of citizens." He stated, "If the cyber breach had occurred at any airport in the world, its condition would be worse now." He emphasized that "the investigations must reach a conclusion since what happened relates to aviation security, public safety, and national security." He pointed out that "aviation today operates under difficult conditions and requires a cybersecurity system," adding, "We are working on a necessary plan for the airport and its safety, and the Cabinet is ready to provide the necessary support for this plan." Mawlawi announced that "it is likely the breach is external, but the investigations will reveal the truth and all the details."
