The National News Agency reported that monitors from the Ministry of Economy in the south continued their rounds in the regions of Abbassiyeh in the Tyre district, Ghazieh, and Sidon, resulting in the issuance of four violation reports, the seizure of expired materials, and the collection of three samples. The violations were as follows:
1. A cake factory in Sidon did not meet the general food safety conditions and regulations, and a quantity of expired raw materials was seized.
2. A grocery and candy warehouse in Sidon contained bags of expired almonds and salt.
3. A butcher shop in Abbassiyeh did not adhere to cleanliness standards.
4. A butcher shop in Abbassiyeh was selling Brazilian chilled meats as if they were fresh.
