The Israeli army launched a series of airstrikes in the south this morning, Friday, including an attack targeting the town of Al-Najariya in the Saida district, which resulted in the death of Hezbollah official Hussein Khidr Mahdi and two Syrian children. Hebrew media confirmed that Mahdi is a commander in Hezbollah's air force.
Hezbollah mourned Hussein Khidr Mahdi, nicknamed "Abu Khidr," who was born in 1962 in the town of Al-Najariya in southern Lebanon. The airstrike targeted the Bustan Al-Barak area on the coast of the Zahrani region in southern Lebanon.
The National Agency reported that Israeli warplanes struck the town of Al-Najariya and conducted another strike on the Al-Adousiyah neighborhood of Al-Barak. The Civil Defense announced that its members worked at 12:00 on the date of today, May 17, 2024, to rescue two injured individuals from under the rubble following the airstrike on the town of Al-Adousiyah in Zahrani.
