The Israeli army announced on Monday that it struck a building housing Hezbollah members in the Yaroun area of southern Lebanon yesterday. In a statement on Telegram, it added that the air force also targeted elements affiliated with Hezbollah in the town of Houla. The statement mentioned that the targets hit by the army included a weapons storage facility in Mays al-Jabal and military infrastructure in Khiyam. According to the National News Agency and the Iran-aligned party, five Hezbollah members and two civilians were killed in Israeli strikes that targeted southern Lebanon on Sunday. The Lebanese National News Agency reported that Israeli airstrikes targeted motorcycles in three villages in southern Lebanon: Houla, Aita al-Shaab, and Naqoura. The Israeli army stated that it targeted two members of Hezbollah while they were operating in the Aita al-Shaab area, while Hezbollah mourned the loss of five of its members.
