French player Kylian Mbappé announced his departure from Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the current 2023-2024 season, bidding farewell to his fans with an emotional message.
Mbappé shared a farewell message on his official Instagram account, stating, "I want to tell you that this year is my last with Paris. It has been an honor for me to play for the biggest club in France."
He added, "This is difficult; I never thought it would be so hard to announce leaving my country, France, and leaving Ligue 1. But I believe I need this new challenge after seven years."
It is worth mentioning that Mbappé joined Paris Saint-Germain in August 2017, initially on loan from Monaco for one season, before the Parisian club decided to purchase him.
Kylian Mbappé has played 306 matches so far with Paris Saint-Germain, scoring 255 goals and assisting 108. He is preparing for a potential transfer to Real Madrid at the end of the current season.
