The Secretary-General of "Hezbollah," Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, pointed out that "the main problem in our region is the blatant American intervention in everything, alongside the submissive policy present in several places towards this American will. The Americans are leading us toward a major catastrophe that we are approaching in Lebanon, and the government must act in the interest of the country away from subordination." He emphasized during a memorial ceremony for Sheikh Afeef al-Nabulsi that "if we want a solution, we must break free from American hegemony and prioritize Lebanon's interests by the government, officials, and the people alike."
Regarding the incidents in Ain al-Hilweh, he stated: "Hezbollah does not have a narrative for what happened in Ain al-Hilweh, and we are not concerned with providing any narrative." On the occasion of the anniversary of August 4, Nasrallah confirmed, "We all await the truth about the Beirut port explosion, and those who have lost it are the ones who have exploited this painful incident since day one."
He praised the Lebanese Civil Defense youths and the Civil Defense affiliated with the Union of Municipalities of the Southern Suburbs for their response to the fire that broke out on the airport road, calling for the implementation of their demands and the full guarantee of their rights. He also urged "the Lebanese to channel their anger toward the greatest evil, which dominates and even denies electricity to the oppressed people."
