Iranian leader Ali Khamenei confirmed today, Monday, that the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation came at a critical moment that thwarted attempts at normalization with Israel and its control over the region. Khamenei stated in a speech that "the Al-Aqsa Flood operation was necessary for the region, and there was a U.S.-Western project to change the equations," emphasizing that "this operation came at the right moment and stopped plans to change the equations in the region." The leader continued to praise the Palestinian operation carried out by Hamas on October 7, 2023, saying, "The region needed this attack that came at the right moment."
