Saudi Arabia's news agency reported that the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the UAE, Qatar, and Egypt stated today, Monday, that there should be a "serious and positive" approach to the proposal put forward by U.S. President Joe Biden, which is aimed at achieving a ceasefire in Gaza. The agency noted that "the ministers held a virtual meeting to discuss the proposal, alongside mediation efforts being conducted by the United States, Qatar, and Egypt to reach an agreement for the exchange of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners, which would lead to a permanent ceasefire and allow sufficient aid into Gaza."
