US President Joe Biden began a state visit to France on Saturday, where he was warmly welcomed by French President Emmanuel Macron, celebrating the restoration of relations between the two countries. On the sidelines of the visit, Biden expressed his happiness at the "return of the four Israeli hostages to their families."
He stated, "We will continue to work on freeing all hostages and achieving a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip." For his part, President Macron noted that "we are monitoring the situation in Rafah, and the human toll there is unbearable."
