Abandoned Infant Left at "Orphanage"

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division announced today, Saturday, that "on May 3, 2024, an employee at the Islamic Orphanage for Health Care reported to the Route Jdeideh police station that an unknown person in his thirties came to the orphanage in the Route Jdeideh area on the same date, bringing with him a four-month-old infant. He placed the child in the reception room and left in an unknown direction." The statement added: "Based on the directive of the competent judiciary, the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces is disseminating information about this incident and requests anyone with information to contact the aforementioned police station at the number: 856811-01, to provide any information they may have." An unknown individual has left an infant at the Islamic Orphanage for Health Care.
