Guardiola Announces Haaland and De Bruyne Injuries

Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, revealed today, Friday, the injuries of duo Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne ahead of the match against Chelsea tomorrow, Saturday, at Wembley Stadium in the FA Cup semi-final. Guardiola said in statements relayed by Fabrizio Romano via his account on the app "X": "Haaland felt something, he has suffered a muscular issue, and we will see what happens." The Manchester City manager added: "Kevin De Bruyne also felt an injury in his hamstrings and was very tired, but he is feeling better now." Regarding Cole Palmer's success at Chelsea, he said: "He kept asking to leave City, and I told him to stay, but he wanted to leave; what can we do about it?" The Spanish coach concluded: "Palmer is an exceptional player with extraordinary potential; I did not give him the minutes he deserves, which he is now getting at Chelsea."
