Benjamin Netanyahu: "Are You Crazy?"... Who Was He Referring To?

Benjamin Netanyahu:

Israeli Channel 13 broadcast a video that it claimed was accidentally sent to them, showing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu practicing for the press conference he held on Sunday evening, appearing "angry." The channel mentioned that Netanyahu conducted the rehearsal shortly before calling the media into the room, and it seems that the footage was mistakenly transmitted to the channel.

In the video aired by the network, Netanyahu reads the opening lines of his speech, stopping repeatedly to ask questions and give instructions to his aides regarding the condition of the room, air conditioning, sound system, and word choices in his prepared text on the teleprompter, among other things.

At times, the Prime Minister, who attended a Cabinet meeting on the war after the press conference and then underwent surgery to address a hernia, appears somewhat agitated and impatient as he reviews the best way to open his speech. He remarks while entering: "Wow, what is this distance, are you crazy?" It is unclear what he is referring to, although he may be speaking about the teleprompter.

He adds, "Come closer, what is this? Close the door, turn off the air conditioning immediately. They will hear that, right?" Perhaps referring to the media members waiting outside.

At the beginning of his preparations, Netanyahu said, "Citizens of Israel, good evening," before stopping to ask, "Why good evening? Well, it doesn't matter," and then attempts to read the sentence in several ways before appearing satisfied.

He continues saying, "This doesn't look like a medical center," referring to Shifa Hospital, before repeating the sentence, but this time with a more sarcastic tone, saying, "This doesn't look like a medical center... this looks like a terrorist center."
