The Israeli Government Defines the Key to Expanding Peace in the Region

Israeli government spokesperson Ofir Gendelman confirmed Israel's desire for peace and its expansion in the region. In an interview with "Sky News Arabia," he stated that the elimination of Hamas would expand peace and stability in the area. Gendelman held Iran responsible for strengthening and supporting Hamas and extremist militias in the region, asserting that the war would continue until Hamas is eradicated. In a similar statement, U.S. Deputy Spokesperson for the State Department, Nathan Tak, mentioned in an interview with "Sky News Arabia" that peace cannot be achieved with Hamas's presence.

As the ongoing Israeli military operation in Gaza continues, the world is awaiting the potential outcome of discussions regarding a ceasefire that could end the war that has claimed thousands of lives. An Israeli political source hinted at the possibility that the head of Mossad may not travel to Cairo on Saturday to advance negotiations for a ceasefire and a prisoner exchange deal. He clarified that Hamas has not changed its positions, rendering the upcoming Cairo negotiations seemingly futile.

With the war between Israel and Hamas persisting for six months, it has become one of the most destructive and deadliest conflicts resistant to resolution in the 21st century. The United Nations reports that food has become scarce, famine is imminent, and only a few Palestinians have been able to leave the besieged Gaza Strip.
