The fate of Brazilian winger Raphinha at Barcelona is a crucial topic for the club's management during the current summer transfer window. According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," if Raphinha leaves the Catalan team, Deco, the sporting director at Barcelona, will consider signing Luis Díaz, the Liverpool winger. Raphinha has recently received several attractive offers from the Saudi league, and although he has rejected them and prefers to continue at Barcelona, anything could happen in the upcoming period before the season starts.
The report indicates that Díaz would be willing to join Barcelona and would do his utmost to finalize the deal if the opportunity arises. Díaz has a contract with Liverpool that runs until 2027 and is in his prime at the age of 27. Liverpool spent 50 million euros on the Colombian player and will not allow him to leave at a low price. The newspaper noted that Raphinha has slightly better productivity than Díaz, having scored 20 goals and provided 25 assists in 87 matches, while the Liverpool star has scored 24 goals and assisted 13 times in 98 matches at Anfield.
