Meetings of the Army Commander During His Visit to the United States

The following statement was issued by the Army Command - Directorate of Guidance: "During his visit to the United States, Army Commander General Joseph Aoun met with the Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee Senator Jack Reed, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Charles Q. Brown Jr., and the American Task Force for Lebanon (ATFL). The discussions focused on the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as ways to support the army during the current exceptional phase."
