Tel Aviv: Ramming and Stabbing Incident Injures Several

A Palestinian from Hebron carried out a ramming attack in Tel Aviv in response to the Israeli military operation in Jenin. The police reported that eight people were injured in the attack, some in critical condition. They mentioned that a "civilian paramedic" managed to "neutralize" the suspect, who subsequently stabbed the injured with a sharp object after the ramming. Israel remained on high alert for potential Palestinian attacks following a major military operation in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin.

The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" claimed responsibility for the operation in a statement, stating that the attacker was a member of the movement and that the "heroic operation in Tel Aviv" was a natural response to the Jenin massacre, asserting that the struggle of the Palestinian people would continue until the occupation is ended. They announced the martyrdom of Hussein Isa Hussein Khalaila (23 years old) from the town of Samu' in Hebron, who was killed while carrying out the "heroic operation" in Tel Aviv.

Hamas emphasized that this operation is "legitimate self-defense" against the ongoing "Zionist massacre" in Jenin and the crimes of displacement, killing, and destruction committed by the occupation forces.

Israeli police stated that a vehicle struck civilians in Tel Aviv and that the driver then proceeded to stab several people. Israeli Security Minister Ben Gvir commented that "the Tel Aviv incident proves the importance of carrying weapons." Meanwhile, an Israeli police spokesperson noted that security forces are investigating the circumstances of the ramming incident. Ben Gvir indicated that "as soon as Israel commenced its operation in Jenin, we knew that terrorism would rear its head again."
