Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu indicated on Saturday that Israel "does not surrender to terrorism and that it is working with 'creativity and courage' to return the hostages held by Hamas in Gaza." Netanyahu stated, "We are committed to doing this in the future as well. We will not rest until we complete the mission and bring all the hostages home, whether they are alive or dead." The Israeli military had announced the liberation of four live hostages in the Al-Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, in a special operation involving several Israeli security agencies. Israeli Channel 12 revealed that Netanyahu and Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant approved the operation on Thursday, without informing Israeli War Cabinet member Benny Gantz about it.
