Death of the Chairman of the OMT Board in Lebanon

Today, Friday, the Chairman of the OMT Board in Lebanon, lawyer Tawfiq Maouad, passed away at the age of 79. The OMT Group mourned in a statement, "one of its main shareholders and Chairman of the Board, lawyer Tawfiq Maouad," inviting all to "join in the funeral prayer on Monday, May 6, 2024, at 4 PM at St. John the Baptist Church in Zgharta." The statement added, "OMT vows to its late leader to continue being faithful to his pioneering journey and to keep his memory a valuable asset to complete this long and shining path of constructive and successful work, perseverance in service, and public good." Condolences will be accepted before and after the burial, and on Tuesday from 11 AM to 7 PM at St. John the Baptist Church in Zgharta, and on Wednesday at St. George Cathedral in Beirut from 10 AM to 6 PM.
