A shooting inside a bar in a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left seven others injured. The Allegheny County Police Department’s homicide unit responded to a request for assistance from Penn Hills Police following the shooting that occurred early Sunday morning at the "Cigar Bar & Billiards Hookah Lounge" in the Penn Hills area.
Officers who arrived at the scene discovered the bodies of an adult male and an adult female inside the bar around 3 a.m. local time and uncovered seven additional injured individuals. The Allegheny County Police stated in a release that one of the injured is in critical condition.
Preliminary information indicates that a fight broke out inside the bar, leading several individuals to open fire. Authorities have requested anyone with information about the incident to contact them. The statement did not mention whether any suspects are in custody.
