Medvedev: Ukrainian Authorities Are a Band of Thieves

Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev commented on the disappearance of weapons supplied to Kiev, stating that "the stealing is in the blood of the corrupt followers of Bandera at a genetic level." He emphasized that "there will inevitably be embezzlement and theft of the funds that the West will later allocate to Ukraine."

Medvedev added: "They have long been shouting at us (and in my ears) personally on social networks that Bandera's leaders in Ukraine are sinless people who are not greedy at all. They assured us they haven’t stolen a single dollar. They stressed that Bandera's followers are of high nationalism and sanctity. They claimed we were lying and had no damning evidence of corruption in Kiev. Of course, finding some small arms somewhere in Afghanistan that were supplied by Ukraine means nothing."

He noted, citing the New York Times, that "the Pentagon did not monitor the fate of the weapons supplied to Ukraine, so nearly 40,000 pieces of weaponry - including suicide drones, munitions, and night vision devices - valued at a billion dollars have disappeared from there."

The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council said: "Now the Americans, who are directing the puppets, fear that the weapons may have been stolen and delivered to traffickers either by one of their corrupt officers or by thieves from Kiev. This is very good. The stealing is genetically in the blood of the corrupt followers of Bandera. They have stolen, are stealing, and will continue to steal. I remember how surprised one Ukrainian nationalist was when I asked him why a certain obscure individual appeared on the election lists, as he had no chance of winning. He replied saying: 'This is his last chance to steal some money!'"

Medvedev continued: "So give them your billions, dear gentlemen from the EU and beyond. Everything will be wonderful... and inevitably, all of it will be stolen as soon as possible."
