Daryan Calls for an End to Fighting in Ain al-Hilweh: It is Not Permissible to Fight Brothers

Lebanese Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul-Latif Daryan has called on Palestinian fighters in the Ain al-Hilweh camp to immediately cease hostilities. He stated, "It is religiously impermissible to fight against brothers, regardless of the reason. We must preserve the safety and lives of people; our cause has been and will always be Palestine, its Jerusalem, and its people."

During a call with the Palestinian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ashraf Dabbour, Daryan affirmed his full solidarity with the unity of the Palestinian people and stressed the importance of not allowing interference in Palestinian affairs. He urged "Palestinian factions to unify their efforts against the occupying Israeli enemy," stating that any conflict between Palestinian brothers is a meaningless fight that harms the Palestinian people, the Palestinian cause, and its historical struggle, as well as the martyrs who fell for the main cause.

Mufti Daryan emphasized the need to resort to legal authorities to put an end to the strife, which benefits only the Zionist enemy.
