In the most intense attack since the war began in October, over 50 rockets were launched from Lebanon toward northern Israel following an Israeli bombardment of border areas in southern Lebanon on Thursday. The "National News Agency" reported that one person was killed and four others were injured inside a house in the town of Aita al-Shaab that was targeted by Israeli forces, and they were transferred to local hospitals. An Israeli Apache helicopter also targeted the valleys adjacent to the town.
Details revealed that an Israeli drone struck the Tarash area in the town of Mays al-Jabal in the evening, causing a fire. Israeli forces bombarded Kafr Kila, Hammas Sarda, and Wadi al-Khayyam, and phosphorus bombs were dropped on Kafr Kila. The areas surrounding the towns of Tayr Harfa, Shamma, and Majdel Zoun faced direct artillery fire from Israel, and the area between Naqoura and Alma al-Shaab was also shelled.
On the other hand, the "Islamic Resistance" reported that it "killed 4 Israeli soldiers in the Manta settlement with guided missiles.” They added that "in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and in solidarity with their noble and honorable resistance, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance targeted at 16:35 on Thursday gathering and deployment points of Israeli occupation soldiers around the Al-Khazan Hill site near the Yiftach barracks (in the occupied Lebanese village of Quds) with appropriate weaponry and achieved direct hits."
Civil defense teams from the Mays al-Jabal center and the Barashit center completed the extinguishing operations for a fire that broke out in one of the homes in the Tarash area of Mays al-Jabal due to targeting by an Israeli drone, with damages limited to material losses.
The Israeli army indicated that precision missiles have entered the battle, suggesting that "Hezbollah” may not be aware of this. The Israeli army stated in a communiqué that sirens sounded in Arab al-Aramshe in northern Israel.
