The opposition Ennahda Islamic Movement in Tunisia announced that the police have detained the movement's Secretary-General, Al-Ajmi Al-Warimi, without judicial approval or any charges. The reason for Al-Warimi's detention is not yet clear. The movement's leader, Rached Ghannouchi, along with other senior officials from the movement, has been in prison since last year. No comment could be obtained from the Tunisian police spokesperson.
