The Indonesian Defense Minister conveyed greetings from Indonesian President Joko Widodo, wishing the UAE continued progress and prosperity. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed reciprocated with his best wishes to the Indonesian President and people for further prosperity and development.
The UAE President renewed his congratulations to Prabowo Subianto on his victory in the Indonesian presidential elections, wishing him success in leading his country during the upcoming phase and achieving the aspirations of his people, while building on the existing strategic relations between the UAE and Indonesia to develop cooperation for the benefit of both countries.
They discussed the bilateral relations, particularly in defense and military matters, and ways to enhance cooperation for mutual benefit. They also exchanged views on various regional and international issues of common interest.
During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed awarded Prabowo Subianto the "Zayed Medal" in recognition of his sincere efforts and his role in strengthening cooperation between the UAE and Indonesia.
In turn, the Indonesian Defense Minister expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed for the award, which he honored as named after a universal humanitarian figure, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and he wished for continued development and growth in the relations between the two countries.
