Israel Reviews War Scenarios

The newspaper "Israel Hayom" reported that at a conference held this week for local council heads, war scenarios were presented to them. The extreme scenario estimates widespread power outages lasting up to 72 hours, along with interruptions to internet and phone services ranging from 24 hours to two days. In this situation, the population would not receive alerts regarding rocket launches, and the warning systems in the settlements would not function; old sirens would have to be manually operated. Additionally, water supply would be disrupted, and authorities have been asked to prepare to provide water to the population for up to a week. Citizens, even in central areas, would be required to remain in protected areas for up to 72 consecutive hours.
