Who is Shaul, whom Al-Qassam congratulated today in captivity?

In a reference to the Israeli soldier who has been in captivity for 9 years, Al-Qassam Brigades published a message in Arabic, Hebrew, and English: “Shaul, happy birthday in captivity.” On the ninth birthday of soldier Shaul Aaron in captivity, Al-Qassam sent a message to the families of the occupying soldiers, reminding them of the fate of the missing Israeli pilot Ron Arad in Lebanon since the 1980s, adding: “Your suffering with Netanyahu has not yet begun.”

Shaul Aaron (30 years old) is one of the first soldiers captured by the movement. He enlisted in the Israeli army and served in an elite brigade on the border with the Gaza Strip, participating in the war against the Strip in 2014, where he was captured by Al-Qassam fighters on July 20. Israel claims Aaron was killed, but his family refuses to accept this narrative, and since his capture, Hamas has not provided any specific information about him.
