Yesterday, Thursday, the most expensive falcon so far was sold in the fourth edition of the "Saudi Falcons Club" auction, which saw significant attendance and interest from enthusiasts and falconers in the kingdom and the region. A Shaheen falcon from Al-Shalaan, sold to bidders Mahmoud, Hamoud, and Atallah Al-Jahni, fetched 265,000 Saudi Riyals after a bidding start of 117,000 Riyals. This propels the Al-Shalaan falcon to first place as the most expensive falcon in the current edition, with the falcon from Al-Oweikila falling to second place at a quarter of a million Riyals.

The night saw the sale of four falcons totaling 527,000 Riyals, beginning with a Shaheen falcon from the Mujirmah area, which was sold for 63,000 Riyals after ten bidders participated in its auction. Following that, a Shaheen falcon from Al-Jubail was auctioned with bidders Khalil Al-Qahtani and Muslim Al-Mansouri, starting the bidding at 40,000 Riyals, ultimately selling for 88,000 Riyals. The night concluded with a Shaheen falcon from Al-Rayis, sold by bidder Sulayman Al-Sobhi for 111,000 Riyals.

It is noteworthy that the "Saudi Falcons Club" provides a range of benefits to participating bidders. The club's teams receive falcon owners (bidders) in various regions (Eastern, Northern, Western Northern, and Western Southern) to inspect the falcon and document its auction. The Saudi Falcons Club then takes care of housing and transportation for falcon owners to the auction venue, where the falcons are sold in a direct and rapid competitive auction broadcasted on television channels and the club's social media platforms, with no transaction fees involved.
