Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced during a tour in "Kiryat Shmona" that "we are ready for a very strong operation in the north." He stated, "Anyone who thinks they can harm us while we stand idly by is making a big mistake," emphasizing that "we will restore security to the north one way or another." He added, "Yesterday the ground burned here and I am happy that you extinguished the fire, but the ground burned in Lebanon as well."

Israeli broadcasting authority reported that the military leadership believes the government should make a decision to change the unbearable situation on the border with Lebanon and is preparing for a wide war that includes a ground operation. The authority revealed that "the government will approve today an increase in the number of reserve soldiers to 350,000," clarifying that this increase is not related to the northern front.

The Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Herzi Halevi, revealed today, Tuesday, Israel's preparedness to launch a military attack along the northern border with Lebanon, and that a decision is approaching.
