UN: Situation in the West Bank

United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk warned on Tuesday that "the situation in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, is deteriorating significantly," and noted "concerns about unlawful killings." Turk stated that there is "death and suffering that cannot be accepted by conscience" in Gaza. The Palestinian Authority estimates that at least 545 people have been killed by Israeli forces or settlers in the West Bank since October 7.
