Lebanese MP Calls for Halting Direct Negotiations with Israel

The head of the "Baalbek-Hermel Bloc," MP Hussein Hajj Hassan, has urged an immediate halt to direct negotiations with the Israeli enemy. He emphasized the need to rectify the current course, which he claims has only led to further unwarranted concessions while the enemy continues its aggressions, targeting civilians and army personnel, demolishing homes, and bulldozing lands in the occupied territories.

Speaking at a memorial event organized by "Hezbollah" in the town of Al-Za’arir west of Baalbek, commemorating the passing of martyr Abbas Abdullah Meshik, Hajj Hassan stated that the ongoing Israeli aggressions confirm the persistence of occupation policies. He insisted on revisiting the existing approach to safeguard Lebanon’s rights and sovereignty.

Hajj Hassan affirmed that the relationship between Hezbollah and the Amal Movement remains stable and solid, founded on collaboration and integration, with a unified stance against the challenges facing Lebanon and the region.

He concluded by highlighting that the perseverance of the Lebanese people and their commitment to their rights are pivotal in countering Israeli aggressions. He called for adopting strategies that protect national interests and prevent further concessions to the enemy.
