Paris Saint-Germain is racing against time to strengthen its attack with a strong acquisition to compensate for the departure of historic top scorer Kylian Mbappé. The French outlet Foot Mercato reported that the Parisian club has informed the agent of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the Napoli star, of its intention to make a bid worth 120 million euros.
Additionally, PSG is actively pursuing Kvaratskhelia, who has three seasons remaining on his contract with Napoli. Despite an agreement between PSG and Kvaratskhelia, the Georgian player is negotiating with Napoli for a new contract.
The report revealed that Napoli's management wants to secure the Georgian star with a release clause of 160 million euros and an annual salary of 5 million euros. Foot Mercato continued by stating that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia desires an annual salary of 6 million euros, with a release clause set at 130 million euros.
The report concluded that PSG faces intensive work ahead to secure this deal and convince Napoli's management to sell Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
