The Israeli army has raised its state of alert and closed the roads adjacent to the border with Lebanon following a series of airstrikes it conducted in southern Lebanon on Wednesday. In detail, the "Islamic Resistance" in Lebanon announced that "in response to Israeli attacks on the steadfast southern villages and civilian homes, specifically the massacre in Hanin and the casualties among civilians, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance targeted today, Wednesday, a building housing enemy soldiers in the Avivim settlement with appropriate weaponry, resulting in deaths and injuries among them."
Additionally, the Israeli air force launched a strike on a house on the outskirts of the town of Alma al-Shab, toward the town of Dhahira. As for the Israeli army spokesperson, Avichai Adraee, he indicated that "the Defense Forces attacked targets belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon." He stated: "Widespread airstrikes targeted dozens of targets within a few minutes, striking dozens of terrorist infrastructures belonging to Hezbollah around Aita al-Shaab in southern Lebanon."
A correspondent from Al-Manar reported that the enemy's warplanes conducted more than 14 missile airstrikes targeting the outskirts of the towns of Aita al-Shaab and Ramiah. He added that "the Defense Forces have recently completed a large-scale attack that targeted about 40 sites associated with the terrorist organization Hezbollah in the vicinity of Aita al-Shaab in southern Lebanon, using warplanes and artillery bombardment."
He continued: "Among the targets attacked were storage facilities for military equipment, terrorist infrastructures, and other sites used by the organization in the area. This all falls under an effort to destroy the Hezbollah infrastructure in the border region." He noted that "Hezbollah widely uses the Aita al-Shaab area for terrorist purposes and has installed dozens of its terror resources and infrastructures directed toward the Israeli home front."
