The festival invites filmmakers from Saudi Arabia, the Arab world, Africa, and Asia to submit their applications by August 22, with early submission ending on July 5.

The festival looks forward to receiving unique and outstanding cinematic projects to highlight captivating storytelling from various countries and languages as part of its mission to celebrate the film industry both locally and internationally. Filmmakers can submit their applications today in the following sections: "Red Sea Feature Film Competition," "Red Sea Short Film Competition," and the "New Saudi Cinema" section, which focuses on showcasing the talents and creative works of Saudi filmmakers.

Films participating in the Red Sea International Film Festival will compete for prestigious Yusr Awards, including the Yusr Golden Award for Best Feature Film worth $100,000, as well as other awards such as Best Director, Jury Award, and Yusr Golden Award for Best Short Film.
