A security source in the Iraqi province of Dhi Qar reported today, Wednesday, that security forces are pursuing an individual who fired shots near one of the Husseini processions in downtown Nasiriyah. In a statement to "Alsumaria News," the source said, "A person on a motorcycle brandished his weapon near one of the Husseini processions on Nile Street in downtown Nasiriyah and fired shots into the air." The source added that "security forces are currently conducting a raid and search operation to locate the suspect and bring him to justice."
