The head of the "Lebanese Forces" Party, Samir Jaafar, indicated that "the main problem is that there is no government or state in Lebanon, and there are remnants of a state that we must activate, and this is what we are doing. We have forgotten that we are a state with the right to make decisions on our land due to governmental negligence." Jaafar affirmed in an interview with "LBCI" that "up to this moment, we are with the true Syrian revolution, which is one thing, while accepting the Syrians on our land is another matter. Some people say that we have delayed addressing the issue of displacement, but our opponents in the Resistance Axis and the National Free Movement are the 'greatest liars.'"
He clarified that all security forces are required to take action now as the number of Syrian refugees is very large, and the Lebanese General Security is capable of taking action; if it needs any assistance, it should announce that. He continued: "We will participate in the parliamentary session on Wednesday to inquire from President Nabih Berri about the details of this aid, whether it is to keep the Syrian refugees in Lebanon or aid for Lebanon to carry out reforms. He added: The session on Wednesday is not legislative but an urgent matter, so participation is necessary, and the Prime Minister must clarify the backgrounds of the European aid during this session."
