Erdogan Informs Xi of Desire to Continue Improving Turkey-China Relations

The statement noted that "the two leaders met at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, and discussed the Russian-Ukrainian war and the conflict in Gaza." The presidency highlighted that "Erdogan called for effective action from the international community to prevent the escalation of either conflict."
