Azzam Al-Ahmad, a member of the Executive Committees of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Central Committee of the "Fatah" Movement, emphasized the "necessity of handing over the suspects in the assassination of Major General Abu Ashraf Al-Armoushi and his companions to the Lebanese judiciary." During his meeting with MP Abdel Rahman Al-Bizri, he discussed the latest developments in the Ain al-Hilweh camp and praised Al-Bizri's positions regarding the recent events, confirming the "brotherly relationship that binds the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples."
For his part, Al-Bizri affirmed support for "the Palestinian people's ongoing struggle against the Israeli army and for the establishment of their independent state on their national soil with Jerusalem as its capital, under the leadership of the Palestine Liberation Organization, the legitimate and sole representative of the Palestinian people in all places of their existence."
In the same context, Azzam Al-Ahmad discussed with MP Osama Saad the latest developments in the Ain al-Hilweh camp and the necessity of handing over the suspects in the assassination of Major General Abu Ashraf Al-Armoushi and his companions to the Lebanese judiciary. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of Palestine to Lebanon Ashraf Dabbour, Secretary of the Fatah Movement and factions of the Palestine Liberation Organization Fathi Abu Al-Ardat, member of the Revolutionary Council of Fatah Amina Jibril, member of the leadership of Fatah in Lebanon Major General Monzir Hamza, and Commander of the Palestinian National Security Forces in Lebanon Major General Sobhi Abu Arab.
