After the revelation that global star Tom Cruise is in a romantic relationship with a 25-year-younger Russian model named Elcina Khairova, her ex-husband stepped in to caution the "Mission Impossible" star. Russian businessman Dmitry Tsitkov, the former husband of Cruise's new girlfriend, warned him that he should always keep his wallet active, as his current love enjoys luxurious and expensive tastes.
Tsitkov, 43, advised the 61-year-old American star to prepare for the challenge of satisfying the Russian woman, claiming he spent a staggering £10 million on Khairova's clothing and £2 million on handbags during their troubled 11-year marriage. According to her ex-husband—who amassed his wealth from diamonds and mining—regardless of whom his 36-year-old ex-wife partners with, "he must understand that she loves the finest things in life and has an expensive and luxurious taste," as reported by the British newspaper "Daily Mail."
Dmitry revealed that he paid £150 million in costs related to their bitter divorce battle, which lasted three years. He clarified that Khairova received her expensive wardrobe filled with high-end brand items and handbags, all of which were part of their divorce settlement. The prices of the handbags ranged from £5,000 to £35,000 each, and the Russian model made headlines during the divorce proceedings due to claims that she hid these along with other assets from her former husband.
He announced that his wealth dwindled from £200 million to just £50 million while he was with his wife, as he was forced to sell assets to cover legal fees or hand them over to Khairova. It is noted that Elcina Khairova is a former model of Russian descent, now a British citizen, who was married to businessman Dmitry Tsitkov. Together, they shared a £22 million mansion and an £18 million home in London, as well as properties in Dubai and Cyprus.
