Palestinian Prime Minister: Stop the Massacres and Collective Killing in Gaza

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh renewed his call to "stop the aggression, massacres, and collective killing and extermination being perpetrated by the Israeli occupation army against our people in the Gaza Strip, including the killing of children, women, the elderly, and civilians, cutting off water, electricity, and communications, starving people, bombarding schools and mosques, occupying hospitals, and expelling patients, newborns, and premature infants." He stated at the start of today's government session in Ramallah: "The occupation forces are committing murder for the sake of murder, with a spirit of vengeance and with the aim of displacement, which our people resist despite the pain, blood, and suffering in Gaza."

He added: "Despite the horror of what is happening in Gaza, some countries still refuse to implement a ceasefire, encouraging Israel to commit more killings, demonstrating the absence of international humanitarian law and the disregard for all international treaties." The Prime Minister saluted all voices that said: "No to war, and yes to stopping the killing and aggression against the Palestinian people in all capitals, cities, and towns around the world." He called on the United Nations and the Red Cross to "shoulder their responsibilities and raise their voices against the repressive and retaliatory practices against the detainees, and to work towards ending this abuse and torture."
