Cairo News reported today, Saturday, citing a high-ranking Egyptian source, that "Egypt calls on Israel not to obstruct the ongoing negotiations regarding the ceasefire in Gaza and to avoid introducing new principles that contradict what has already been agreed upon." The source indicated that "Israeli leadership is trying to manage public opinion by consuming time in formal meetings to appeal to the Israeli public, rather than reaching an agreement to prevent the collapse of the governing coalition."
