Tensions in Southern Lebanon: Drone Attacks on Israeli Positions

Despite the bad weather, military operations on the southern front did not cease on Monday. "Hezbollah" announced that it attacked gatherings of Israeli soldiers west of Kiryat Shmona using three drones, claiming to have inflicted direct hits. In a statement, they said, "The Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance attacked at 1:10 PM on Monday, November 20, 2023, with three offensive drones, targeting Israeli occupation soldiers’ gathering points west of Kiryat Shmona and achieved direct hits."

On the other hand, an Israeli airstrike targeted the area between the towns of Rmeish and Aita ash-Shab. The towns of Houla, Markaba, and Mays al-Jabal faced heavy shelling, while the ongoing Israeli bombardment also hit the town of Muhaybib. Concurrently with the artillery shelling, Israeli helicopters participated in strikes on the outskirts of Maroun al-Ras.

The home of Qabalan Qabalan, a member of the ruling body of "Amal Movement" and a member of the Lebanese Parliament, sustained significant damage as a result of being targeted by the Israeli army with two artillery shells in the town of Mays al-Jabal.

The Islamic Resistance reported that they targeted an Israeli infantry gathering around the Dahira site with artillery shells at 10:15 AM on Monday, inflicting direct hits. Additionally, they mentioned, "Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance again attacked at 8:20 AM today the Branit Barracks, the command center of the 91st Division, with two Burkan missiles."
