A heroic act was performed by saxophonist Mohamed Ali Nasr in Alexandria, Egypt, as he saved a mother and her two children trapped in an elevator after it stalled due to a power outage. Unfortunately, he slipped and lost his life immediately after rescuing them.
The tragic incident began when saxophonist Mohamed Ali Nasr entered the elevator with a mother and her two children between the eighth and ninth floors. The elevator malfunctioned because of the power cut, causing the mother and her children to panic and the kids to burst into tears. In response, Nasr decided to help them.
As he attempted to exit the elevator with the assistance of a building guard, who placed a wooden chair to aid their escape, he lost his footing while trying to leave. After the mother and children exited safely, Mohamed fell into the elevator shaft and died instantly.
Authorities in Alexandria are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of young saxophonist Mohamed Ali Nasr, who passed away after falling into an elevator shaft in a building in the Ibrahimiyya area of central Alexandria.
