Threats of Sabotage in Stockholm and Arrest of Two Individuals

According to the newspaper Expressen, citing the public prosecutor in Sweden, local police arrested two individuals during a security operation at the central train station in Stockholm yesterday, Wednesday. The newspaper reported that part of the central station in the Swedish capital was evacuated due to threats of a bomb, and a suspicious object was discovered during a police operation. The public prosecutor, Caroline Fromm, stated in a press release: "Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident. A 30-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman." The prosecutor indicated that there are reasons for Swedish security to suspect them of violating the law concerning flammable and explosive materials, which is a serious offense, as well as preparation to carry out an act that could cause significant public harm.
