Two people were killed and four were injured in what Israeli police described as a shooting incident at an intersection in southern Israel on Friday. Local authorities reported that the suspect was killed by an armed civilian. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated, "This attack reminds us that the entire country is a war front and that the murderers, who do not only come from Gaza, want to kill us all... We will continue the war until complete victory." Avi Biton, the commander of the central police district, mentioned that an attacker opened fire at a bus station near the intersection in southern Israel in the afternoon, injuring six people. He added that an armed civilian present at the attack site shot the suspect, and police are combing the area for any other potential individuals involved in executing the attack. The Magen David Adom service reported the deaths of two individuals, and four injured persons were taken to hospitals for treatment of moderate to severe injuries. National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir stated that the incident "once again proves that firearms save lives."
