In western Bekaa, specifically on the main road of Gaza town, an Israeli drone targeted a civilian vehicle, resulting in the death of its driver. Reports indicate that the deceased is Mohammad Jabara, a leader in the Fajr Forces, the military wing of the Islamic group.
An official statement from "the Islamic Group" read: "The Islamic Group in Lebanon and its resistance military wing (Fajr Forces) mourn the martyr, the mujahid leader Mohammad Hamid Jabara (Abu Mahmoud), who ascended as a martyr on Thursday morning, due to a treacherous Israeli attack in the western Bekaa, in a new crime added to the series of crimes by the enemy."
"We in the Islamic Group, as we mourn our martyr Mohammad Hamid Jabara (Abu Mahmoud) to our nation and our people, hold the Israeli enemy responsible for this cowardly crime and affirm that it will not deter us from fulfilling our role and duty in defending our land and people in the south, nor from supporting our people in Palestine."
