"Despicable Acts and Dangerous Rhetoric"... Harris Comments on Washington Protests

U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris condemned "the burning of the American flag, which is a symbol of our ideals, and I support the right to peaceful protest." Harris stated, "Washington witnessed yesterday, Thursday, despicable acts by unpatriotic demonstrators and dangerous rhetoric that fuels hatred." The United States saw angry demonstrations yesterday around the Capitol in protest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Washington and his speech before the members.
