Mahuchikh Breaks World Record in High Jump

Yaroslava Mahuchikh set a new world record in women's high jump by achieving 2.10 meters at the Diamond League meeting in Paris on Sunday. The 22-year-old world champion from Ukraine broke the previous record held by the Bulgarian Stefka Kostadinova, which dated back to 1987, by one centimeter. Mahuchikh stated, "Finally, I have immortalized the name of Ukraine in the history of athletics."
