Lebanon's caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati has arrived in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to participate in the "Emergency Humanitarian Response in Gaza" conference, which will be held today and tomorrow, upon a joint invitation from Jordan's King Abdullah II, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. The Prime Minister arrived at Queen Alia Airport in Amman leading a delegation that includes Foreign Minister and Emigrants Abdullah Bou Habib and Environment Minister Nasser Yassine. There were official reception ceremonies for the Prime Minister, who was welcomed at the airport by Minister of State for Prime Ministerial Affairs Ibrahim al-Jazi, Amman Mayor Yusuf al-Shawarbeh, Amman Governor Yaser al-Adwan, and the Lebanese Ambassador to Jordan, Yusuf Emile Raji. Before traveling to Jordan, Mikati held a meeting at the Grand Serail with Finance Minister Yusuf Khalil and Agriculture Minister Abbas al-Haj Hassan. He also received MP Haidar Nasser.
