A spokesperson for Hamas confirmed that Israel still refuses to fully withdraw from the Gaza Strip. The spokesperson told Sky News Arabia, "The movement has shown flexibility in the past period, but the obstinacy has been from Benjamin Netanyahu."
They reiterated, "We are not prepared to accept any agreement that does not include a permanent ceasefire and a complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip," noting that "the U.S. pressure on the Palestinian negotiator aims to meet Israeli demands."
They asserted that "the United States is practicing political hypocrisy," confirming that "we are ready to engage positively with anything that guarantees a complete Israeli withdrawal and a ceasefire from the Gaza Strip."
