Israeli Agriculture Minister: Defeating Hezbollah from the Air is Impossible

Israeli Agriculture Minister Avi Dichter stated that defeating Hezbollah in the north is impossible from the air. He commented, "There are doubts about the possibility of residents returning to their homes under the current reality." On another note, Dichter mentioned that regarding the hostage deal, "the United States is not a key player in the deal, but it exerts indirect influence through Qatar and Egypt." He added that Hamas "has an interest in keeping the hostages alive to increase the value of the deal."
